Spring

A physics-based animation model where an element overshoots its target and oscillates before settling, simulating the behavior of a physical spring.

Example usage
The sheet animates in with a spring — it overshoots slightly before snapping into place.
Editor’s note

Springs feel alive in a way that cubic-bezier curves don’t. But overdone springs read as playful or unstable. Tune stiffness and damping to match the weight of the element.
