Isometric
A projection that draws three-dimensional objects without a vanishing point — the three axes equally foreshortened, parallel edges kept parallel, so nothing shrinks with distance.

Isometric is depth for systems people: no horizon, no foreshortening to argue about, every tile composable on the same grid. That modularity is why strategy games built cities with it, and why every SaaS landing page eventually grew the same floating cutaway cubes. Reach for it when the content is genuinely spatial — architecture, hardware, a pipeline. As pure decoration it now reads as “we bought an illustration pack.”
